Last time out I lengthened my pipe by 1/8 to 1/4" and picked up 400 RPM.

Heading out this weekend changed my prop to an ABC 2716 20* 2 blade. This has a possibility of 60 mph. We will see.

I keep having my exhaust flange loosen. The last time it burnt up the Zenoah gasket :(  I have some things to try and change.

1) pipe mounts loose (change rear pipe mount)

2) too much vibrations (change from ultra light flywheel to stock Zenoah, change motor mount)

3) stainless bolts not holding (change to steel)

4) use loctite

5) use no gasket but gasket compound

We will see.

The boat Flys and I haven't even gone full throttle (neutral trim)

Oh yes last few outings I used an ABC 2716 2 blade, people are telling me it's a hydro prop....oops

Well I changed the cooling setup, changed to a single pick up rudder, changed to a standard TK flywheel, went with a "permatex" gasket, longer stainless bolts, no loctite, shorter rear pipe mount. With garden hose attached ran the engine up to 10,000 rpm, no nasty vibrations. Now to just hit the lake.

Hope to go to the lake for a quick run before work.

Servos are hitec HS5646WP waterproof digital, metal gear. First time I've used them in a project.

No servo didn't get wet on the inside lol I think the rudder was tweaked while powered up, most likely a hard landing after a 360° spin.

Chris, my boat is a beast now. Before when I had it set neutral it was a bit loose. Now set neutral it's loose and with the power it takes driving to control it. I have to adjust the setup to tame the beast.
