My Monster Magnum is running pretty good as the video shows. But I'm still not satisfied! We're still battling with prop torque which is an inherent problem when you have an engine that develops the power like the one that's in the Monster Magnum. We are quickly loosing lakes & ponds to run our gas boats on. The public or trouble makers always winn the noise battle. We have had a lake to run & race on for 20 yrs now. We just found out that we will have to leave next year. We have no place to go. Gas boating in NJ is close to the end now. I hate to have to go electric because of the cost. The speed of the Monster Magnum is unbelievable for its weight and size. As you saw in my video the other boat was 47 inch Seducer with a fully modified 26cc Zenoah. As I said in my video description racing monos will run in the high 50s to over 60 mph if you have it set up loose. As you saw the Monster Magnum was ahead of the other boat and it never did catch the Monster Magnum. So I would say our boat is probably running right at 60 mph. I must apologize. I've had my Monster Magnum since May of this year. And I just now posted some video of it. My son and I go to the club that we belong to about once or twice a month to run our boats. We take the camcorder with intentions of shooting video and then we get involved with tuning and running the boats and forget to shoot some video of the boats.
