Classic Thunder Boat

Have a questions reguarding clasic thunder boats..

1 for a scale boat is it better to use a under hull drive system or a rear strut? Tony I would like to purchace all running gear from WHH.

2 are air dams used behind the sponsons?

3 the hydro that I want to copy had water inlet and out let holes(wet sponsons) should I just make it look like it has this feature? .

extending a power rod's leads

When I bought the "power rod" i did so to replace the receiver switch in my radio box. I installed it in the lid of my box but now that I think of it on the side of the box is better, I can always change the lacation to the side of the box. I found the leads a bit short this is why I am writing this to show others my way of extending leads.
