Jamie I really don't see the need for a third channel shutdown of the engine. The only time I've ever used a third channel on a RC boat is to adjust the fuel mixture while the boat is running. This is back in the day when I was running nitro engine's in all of my boats. I ended up abandoning doing it because it was just too hard to drive the boat keep the throttle open and then adjust the mixture. The reality was it just didn't work all that good. Engine Shutdown

The best way to shutdown your engine in an RC boat is with your radio or transmitter. If you happen to be running at a I.M.P.B.A. or N.A.M.B.A. facility it is a rule. So if you happen to join a club that is a member of either one of these organizations you must be able to shutdown your boat with a radio transmitter. Here's how I do it. Kill Switch

Jamie, you ask a question about kill switch for the Monster Magnum. If you got the 2.4 GHz radoi with your boat a kill switch is not necessarily needed. The radio has a built in feature that returns all the servos to their neutral position if the connection is lost between transmitter and receiver. My Monster Magnum

Hello Jamie, sorry it's taken me so long to post info about the Monster Magnum. I was one of the first to get the Monster Magnum. I got mine in April of this year.
