Thank you, how fun a new toy! Hey I'm busy, so there's other things that the internet is good for outside sourcing and talking to you guys. I spent the last hour checking out my competition, one of the shops actually looks like a house?
We made one of these a few years back first with a "V" belt and it got so hot that it only lasted a few minutes. It would start to stretch and that was it. Then we tried with a notched belt and it lasted a bit longer but would strip the teeth off, and we determined it was the heat and minimal contact area on the small lower pulley. Now that was at least 10 years ago, and although we had the nylon belts, they may of gotten much better due to the fact that they are used on water and oil pumps today. I guess it may be time to call Gates to try it again? I see that this is a drag boat, so a quick shot back and forth may not provide the "test of time".
You will not believe the work related heat difference from 10K RPM to 15K.
How is everything with you, I picked interest on you after going through your short profile and deemed it necessary to write you immediately. I have something very vital to disclose to you, but I found it difficult to express myself here, since it's a public site. Could you please get back to me on my email: firstname.lastname@example.org for the full details.
Have a nice day,
Thanks God bless. Miss. Lauryn Wake.
