I have had a plethra issues with my Super G and team Pro. Neither will start in year 2 and will sell like new.

Trim Tabs/Drive Cable Stuck

I made my trim Tabs neutral today on my Super G and TP and I am hoping the boats will run smoother as I had them out of kelter end of 2010.

How do I get my stuck drive cable out of back of the boat in order to grease it, it is stuck????

Also, any tips on de-winterizing these boats for the 1st time????

Winterizing Team Pro & Super G

This is what I did:

Took all batteries out of transmitter & radio, took out flex shaft, took off spark plug, drained gas lines, sprayed WD 40 down spark plug hole while pulling on stringer slowly, WD 40'd all moving parts, and put everything in zip lock bag.

What else would you do?

On my Team Pro, the flex shaft is stuck and I can't pull it out of hole, even with a tight grip and a firm pull, is something damaged???

Team Pro Send in for Repair

Tony,

My electronics are all acting funny on the team pro I just bought, can I send in the entire boat and you can fix my electronics, and get this boat up and running for me. I also have the hull crack, my electronics are fried, have no idea how this happened, they just quit. I love the Super G, but the Team Pro has had lots of issues. Also, can you set my trim tabs back to even. I think the Futaba Radio isn't working or something I am stumped. Thanks for you help, maybe UPS…

I guess people are right that emails can be taken wrong. My comment was meant to be funny and yes I agree it doesn't take allot of money to have something special. I always liked the idea that these gas boats could be decorated and detailed like full size boats. My original statement was simply that the European market was really the first to do so and that it is good that we are starting to pay attention to details with our boats.
It is so much nicer the see an aray of finely detailed boats at the lake, plus there is a greater respect for each modeler knowing the effort put forth.

1)-Of course same here, I wanted to ruffle some of our American feathers because we used to be the hobbyist's that painstakingly made incredibly models, and in the past 20 years the Euros have seemed to pass us by when it comes to modeling detail. I'm not counting on spending ridiculous money. Some nice vinyl graphics can make a boat look like a million bucks. I for one am not for expensive paint jobs that cost twice or more the hull cost, but I do appreciate a boat that resembles the real thing.
