I have a few customers using the RCMK with our wet pipe, they will work. Not sure that it will make a big difference compared to the M5, it may only be a couple MPH? Lets see if anyone else can confirm how much if any performance gain in comparison.

I'm not sure??? The inline will produce a crap load of torque, and with that the ability to turn a larger prop. I think the beam is wide enough to support the torque up to maybe a 80mm prop. Another uncertanty is if you can get the right CG at 27-30% forward of the transom with the additional weight. I'll tell you what, after vacation I will stick one in the hull and check that first, then see if there is enough room to make it somewhat easy for a guy with big hands like you to get everything to fit and work on. Might be a fun project with great results? Hey with your money and my parts, anything is possible.

That is great! If the intake is leaking the engine will idle very high uncontrollably. In some cases if the intake (aluminum) gets too hot it can cause vapor lock making it hard to start after a run until it cools down. The Teflon gaskets are there for that reason to insulate the heat transfer.

It might be easier and look a whole lot better to run (2) Wet-Pipes on your boat. I can make you (2) custom wet headers, one standard down and out, and one up and out (rearward engine). This would allow both pipes to exit the left side and clear the left side of the radio box. One would be above the other probably about 2"-2.5" on center. The amount of performance you will loose with no doubt be nothing compared to the amount you will get with the inline.

I spoke with Steve yesterday and he really likes him Monster Magnum. I told him you were looking to talk with him and he siad he would go out not this weekend but next and take some video. He and his son have several of our boats and also compete and are are considering a few informational videos showing how to start and run boats. i think that would be greatly appreciated by all of us.

Hey, thanks for talking to Steve for me. Yeah, I'm really looking forward to getting my new boat and I can't wait to hear it run!!! Thanks for allways being patient with me and for talking with me about just anything. I'm pretty sure that I've explained in detail on Jim's RC Boat Dock about how you have totally redesigned your in-line engine coupler over the years to be pretty much bullet proof and that you no longer use a centrifical clutch, you use a solid billet aluminum peice that has been specially machined to connect the two engines together without any runout and that you time them at 180 degrees apart. I also tried to explain the whole reversed cylinder thing to. Thanks, Jamie.
