Hi boaters

I have a Zenoah 260pum (M5)

Lately all I do is to adjust on the carburator constant and can not really get it to take max rpm. If I get it up in rpm, it runs unstable and when I hold in idle and will provide gas again, I usually can´t get it back ind high rpm. Mostly the engine stops

Several times I have tried to put back to the starting point for the carburetor. (It is standard Carb. Think it´s a 644), but without success.

Can anyone help med with some tricks or what to do?

Best regards Max

Ok Max, Good starting points are about 2 turns out for the LO & 1/12 to 1/34 for the Hi. Check the diaphram
& while you have it out spray it down with WD-40. Check the fuel line for any air leaks. Make sure that your fuel filter is screwed together tight. Your M5 is new so the tiny screen inside the carb should not be clogged yet ,but you never know.
If this does not correct the issues get Tony involved he will have more tricks than I.
